On all four 2015 Advent weekends
As the year comes to a close, the Museum Angewandte Kunst will concentrate once again on the gesture of mutual appreciation that inspires the giving and receiving of gifts.
Selected young-generation designers, local suppliers and manufactories, and students of the nearby academies of art and design will all find a place for themselves and their affectionately created objects in the museum foyer. Visitors can stroll through a market of beautiful, useful and long-lived items bearing a relation to the exhibition themes. Clever gift-wrappings, high-quality paper and culinary delights top off the offer. Not mass consumption but the concentration and mindfulness inherent to selecting, wrapping and giving gifts are the focus of this Christmas-season market.
