In the heart of the Richard Meier building, the museum bistro invites visitors to linger and indulge, to partake of its calm atmosphere in the midst of the exhibition worlds with a panorama view of the Metzler Park and a wonderful terrace at eye-level with the treetops.

Like the exhibitions, the bistro and its outward appearance are subject to change. After Nico Filusch, now the second creative head designed the bistro space: Ata Macias of Frankfurt. He dressed the furnishings in high-quality fabrics from Zimmer+Rohde, a richly traditional local textile manufacturer, thus changing the ambiance of this culinary establishment.
