Exhibition overview 2019 Upcoming exhibitions at Museum Angewandte Kunst

The year 2019 will once again bring plenty of outstanding exhibitions to the Museum Angewandte Kunst: Whether it is the plea to embrace beauty, the cabinet of curiosities of Japanese Cloisonné or the outstanding work of contemporary Norwegian artists.

The current exhibition year has already begun on 19 January with Modernism in Frankfurt/M honoring the Bauhaus centennial in 2019. During the first six months of the year three further exhibitions will open at the Museum: Contemporary Muslim Fashions, the new project Beauty by Stefan Sagmeister and Jessica Walsh as well as Seven Treasures: A Trove of Japanese Cloisonné. The second half of the year will provide a deep insight into Norwegian art and culture, design, craftsmanship and architecture followed by a cabinet show, which offers the possibility to dive into the world of Chinese fantasy creatures.
