Exhibition and Event Programme 2022 The new exhibitions at the Museum Angewandte Kunst

In 2022, the Museum Angewandte Kunst will is hosting a series of eclectic exhibition highlights once again: from Mythos Handwerk, to the emergence of a completely new art market in the wake of blockchain culture, to one of the largest cases of municipal art and property acquisition during the Nazi era.

The new exhibition year is starting with Craft as Myth. Between Ideal and Real Life and focuses on the universal values and messages associated with craft in the past, present and future. Shortly afterwards, the Museum Angewandte Kunst and its Department of Book Art and Graphic Arts will be devoting itself to the Artists’ Books – A Success Story. Der Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther König. The first half of the year will also see The Nature of Nature. Fukushima Project with numerous photos and videos by the artist Norbert Schoerner and Unblock Gaudi. Digital Art via Blockchain. The Museum Angewandte Kunst will be celebratig further openings of four exhibitions: September and October will see the start of E.R. Nele. Contemporary Witness as well as 亞歐堂 meet asian art: Peking Glass and Contact Zones – Murat Adash, Céline Berger, Syowia Kyambi. The year will conclude with the opening of The collection of Maximilian von Goldschmidt-Rothschild.
