Program from Februar

01. Februar - 31. März 2024

Since November 11, 2023, the Dieter Rams Forum exhibition has been on display at the Museum Angewandte Kunst, presenting objects by Dieter Rams and the furniture he designed for Vitsœ, as well as photographs by his wife Ingeborg Rams that have never been shown publicly before.

The Dieter Rams Forum is now being expanded to include a student exhibition: from February 23 to March 23, 2024, visitors can visit an exhibition of concept and design drafts from the technical universities in Delft and Milan for Braun / De’Longhi. This intercultural student project was carried out in close cooperation with lecturers from the two universities and is entitled Triangular – Cooking for what matters. The project called for thoughts and ideas that not only related to new types of appliances, but also investigated what really matters when cooking. The resulting concepts take into account a variety of aspects, from the procurement of ingredients, preparation and cooking to circular disposal. Last but not least, it is also about the relevance of cooking as a social and cultural link.

As part of the opening of the exhibition Triangular – Cooking for what matters, a panel discussion on February 23 at 5 pm will be dedicated to the education of designers in industrial design.
